Acerca del significado de algunos de los términos empleados en los documentos relativos a la revolución tupacamarista, 1780-1783
Abstract
In line with his previous publications, Szeminski argues that the information from historic sources describing the 1780's in Peru suggest that there were at least 4 dimensions of the indigenous concept of social hierarchy. Those dimension relate to the concept of casts, land ownership, cultures (ethnic) and social classes. The article recounts and analyses the linguistic evidence from a vast number of historical accounts and primary sources dealing with the Tupac Amaru II revolution.
